Hi,

I am hopefully getting a Bedlington Terrier puppy soon and would want some advice regarding how to introduce him/her to my 2 rabbits.
The rabbits live in our house, even though they got a cage they only sleep in it and usually run around the garden and the house as they please. Am I naive thinking that a dog would be a good addition to our family?When I grew up we had dogs and rabbits together, but the rabbits were mostly in their cages or in a separate room. I know our dog loved the rabbits and one of them really loved to play with the dog who was a mixed breed rotweiler/golden retriever. My mum didn’t like the game though as the jumping dog easily could have crushed the little rabbit. But my experience from dogs and rabbits together is a very positive one.If I have understood things right bitches are in general more patient with other animals, but if we get a dog he would definitely be neutered. Do you think a neutered dog would be just as good or would a be preferred?
